Statewide tornado drill planned for March 6

The Kentucky Department of Emergency Management will be performing a Statewide Tornado Drill on Wednesday, March 6. The time is set for 10:07 a.m.. The Danville-Boyle County Emergency Management Agency (BCEM) will activate the severe weather outdoor sirens for this test. In addition, they will also perform the normal test on the first Friday of the month (March 1, at noon). This is an excellent opportunity for businesses, schools, factories and individuals to test their personal plans in the event of a tornado. Mike Wilder, director of BCEM, will attend one of the schools in the county to observe the drill.
