Danville native named to Missouri Sports Hall of Fame

Danville native Mark Mullin, who was director of athletics and head swimming at Missouri University of Science and Technology for 35 years, was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in September.
He will be inducted Nov. 19 during the annual conference in St. Louis.
During Mullin’s tenure at the school, Missouri S&T teams won 14 conference championships and had swimmers reach the NCAA Division II championship meet every year from 2010 to 2020.
Throughout his career, 193 swimmers and 97 relay teams earned All-America status. A total of 330 athletes earned all-conference honors.
