The membership of the current National Security Council and the Principles Committee in particular gives one pause. Everyone knows or should know the problems surrounding Mike Flynn, the former National Security Advisor to the president.

It is equally disconcerting that Steve Bannon, the president’s chief political strategist, has been selected to the National Security Council and the Principles Committee while the director of national intelligence and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff only participate by invitation.

The above example is just one of many dysfunctional situations existing in the president’s administration. No wonder so many American citizens are appalled by the events that have occurred since the inauguration. The president’s decision making ability is suspect at best and “dangerous” at worst.
