Lincoln County indictments

STANFORD — In Lincoln County district court, the following people waived their right to be indicted by a grand jury and therefore were indicted by information on Feb. 27:
• Joseph Lee Smith, 26, 131 East Railroad St., Gravel Switch: theft by unlawful taking or disposition (shoplifting) between $500 and $10,000.
• Anthony Terry, 34, 132 Star Ave., Stanford: theft by unlawful taking between $500 and $10,000; theft by unlawful taking or disposition of firearm.
A Lincoln County grand jury indicted the following people on Feb. 27:
• Matthew Franklin Steward, 36, 1615 Huntoon Ave., Louisville; April Browning Hampton, 35, 2010 Ellison-Pulaski Road, Eubank; and Margaret Nicole Adams, 32, 710 Ky. 3249, Stanford: receiving stolen property with a value of more than $10,000. Bail was set at $10,000 each, cash or property. Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger testified.
• Eric L. Halcomb, 25, 122 Portman Ave., Stanford: third-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking of a value more than $10,000. Bail was set at $20,000. Detective Frank Thornberry with the Kentucky State Police testified.
• Bradley S. Young, 35, 401 Harding St., Danville: receiving stolen property with a value of more than $500. Bail was set at $10,000. Folger testified.
• Brittany K. Burton, 28, 484 Goshen Cutoff Road, Stanford, and Tad Joey Shelton, 30, 6460 Ky. 2141, Hustonville: theft by unlawful taking with a value of more than $500. Bail was set at $5,000 each, cash or property.
• Billy D. Goodin, 5 Railroad St., Waynesburg: third-degree burglary, by unlawfully entering a building belonging to Double Spring Community Center with intent to commit a crime: third-degree criminal mischief by destroying property belonging to Double Springs Community Center with a value of more than $500; second-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking with a value of more than $500; first-degree criminal mischief with a value of more than $1,000. Bail was set at $20,000. Folger testified.
