Nellene Jeanette Eades New, 66, passed away at her home in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024. She was born in Junction City, Ky on Nov. 6, 1957 to the late Guy and Alma Atchley Eades. She was a 1976 graduate of Lincoln County High School with High Honors. She was a member of The National Honor Society and the Beta Club. She received a Bachelors Degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She worked as a Paralegal, CDL Tester for the Kentucky State Police and KCTC and retired from Humana Insurance Company in Louisville as a Customer Service Rep. She enjoyed reading, cooking, canning, cross-stitching and working crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed going to the Louisville Performing Arts. She is survived by three sisters, Bonnie (Delbert) Maddox, Ruth (Rickey) Cochran of Moreland, KY and Kathy (Ken) Fletcher of Mt. Vernon, KY, four brothers, Randall Eades of Junction City, KY, Kenneth Eades, Moreland, KY, Manuel (Anette) of Georgetown, KY, and Keith (Brigette) of Shelbyville, KY, and several nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Conn , two nieces, Angie Burchfield and Patsy Morgan Eades. She was cremated at her request and there will be no services. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at a later date.
