JUNE 29
12:58 p.m., possible gun shots heard in the West Lexington Avenue area; unable to locate.
1 a.m., caller said an unknown male in a red truck armed with an axe is refusing to let the caller off of Gwinn Island; during the police call, the subject moved and caller was able to leave.
7:21 a.m., caller is requesting assistance with getting food and getting out of her apartment; unable to contact her daughter in Junction City.
7:53 a.m., a male laying at the bottom of the stairs on Holladay Drive is covered in blood; assistance given.
10:59 a.m., an elderly female with dementia is at a residence where there has been a verbal altercation within the past hour; a male damaged property and fled the scene; options explained.
11:39 a.m., items that were reported as stolen out of Lincoln County are at a pawn shop in Danville.
1:38 p.m., officer is requesting someone at sheriff’s office to contact a female on Hickory Lane and tell her to stop dumping her personal trash at Kroger.
2:05 p.m., caller is reporting a library card has been stolen.
3:09 p.m., two-vehicle accident on East Knob Lick Road and U.S. 127; damage to utility pole; KU contacted due to lines in the road.
3:47 p.m., someone in a gray SUV is throwing fireworks at other vehicles on Third Street.
6 p.m., there are two people in a red car on Shelby Street in Junction City acting suspiciously; one female keeps getting in and out of different cars; subjects are now leaving.
6:35 p.m., a female has overheated and is confused; she said her car is missing and she doesn’t know where she lives; car is parked across the street.
8:31 p.m., a female in Junction City has taken the caller’s vehicle following a verbal altercation; upon call back the male said he wasn’t leaving his property so someone from the sheriff’s office can come to his location because another male there had been struck by the vehicle and he is spitting blood.
8:36 p.m., officer is speaking with someone on North Fifth Street about the fireworks ordinance.
9:19 p.m., caller said there is a stolen moped from Moreland behind a residence in Danville and the subjects said they were going to get rid of it after dark.
9:36 p.m., vehicle stop on Brenda Avenue; arrest made.
11:33 p.m., a vehicle has struck a house on North Fifth Street; male is fleeing on foot toward Rowe Street.
