Police blotter from July 6, 7

JULY 6

9:28 a.m., a male in an orange jumpsuit was spotted jumping the fence and leaving the area of Northpoint Training Center in a gray Honda on Hughley Lane about 10 minutes ago; Northpoint was contacted and they are doing an emergency count.

9:52 a.m., due to loitering in the area of Boyle Monument on Stanford Road, the caller is requesting extra patrol.

9:54 a.m., report of theft of a Chevy pickup truck from Tractor Supply.

10:19 a.m., Northpoint is requesting to speak to the sheriff’s office in reference to the missing inmate.

12:49 p.m., a suspicious male is riding a bike in area of Carrigan Drive and Patrician Place.

12:52 p.m., caller wants to know options for removing a family member from her home; arrest made.

1:12 p.m., caller is requesting an officer check on the welfare of a family member who is suicidal and possibly abused by her husband.

1:55 p.m., there is a verbal altercation in progress between a male and female on Hustonville Road; arrest made.

1:57 p.m., a male who was unconscious in front of the building on Hustonville Road woke up and said he was just sleeping, but the caller thinks he’s on something.

2:10 p.m., two-vehicle injury accident on Perryville Road; 4:42 p.m., road reopened.

2:24 p.m., caller is requesting to speak to an officer about two males in a maroon car who are taking pictures of a child.

5:11 p.m., a vehicle has struck a deer on Perryville Road.

5:36 p.m., caller’s carbon monoxide detectors are sounding at Shadow Trail residence; assistance given.

5:58 p.m., a 6-year-old child is calling saying that the parents are arguing.

7:30 p.m., a red Chevy in the Walmart parking lot has its passenger door open and both front seats are pushed forward; personal items are laying in the seats; management has paged for someone to come to the vehicle but there is no response.

9:47 p.m., a 26-year-old home patient is out of control and is threatening to burn down the house.

9:54 p.m., arrest made on bypass near Liquor Barn.

10:09 p.m., there are about 20 sheep or goats out on Brumfield Road.

11:37 p.m., there is a drug smell coming from a room at Super 8 Motel; assistance given.

JULY 7

1:11 a.m., fireworks complaint on Ridge View Road.

2:23 a.m., a female called 911 due to a jailer threatening to arrest her if she doesn’t leave the jail; assistance given.

4:36 a.m., a female at the hospital is requesting a ride home; she is wanted for criminal possession of a forged instrument; assistance given.

7:57 a.m., caller said a maroon vehicle has been on Tibbs Lane property since at lease June 24; according to sheriff’s office the homeowner will have to have it towed since it is parked on private property.

8:43 a.m., a female shoplifter is in custody at Walmart; arrest made.

9:23 a.m., report that a family member has cancelled the last several appointments for a female cancer patient at the Cancer Care Center; caller is unable to contact the patient and there has been domestic issues in the past; patient was contacted by police and she advised she was fine but had decided to no longer continue treatments.

10:27 a.m., caller wants to turn in a gun that was found; the gun was found to be stolen; male was advised to come to the police department with proof of ownership.

12:42 p.m., a blue truck inbound on Lancaster Road may have two occupants and a child; the suspects stole about $1,000 from a purse.

1:28 p.m., a male is standing in the road on Fifth Street and is acting strangely.

3:28 p.m., a child is locked inside a vehicle; assistance given.

3:58 p.m., arrest made on Count Fleet Circle.

4:31 p.m., a physical domestic altercation occurred at Nichols Street residence where one subject pulled a knife; arrest made.

5:20 p.m., report of property vandalism on Greenview Drive.

5:26 p.m., complaint of extremely loud music coming from an ice cream truck on Madison Avenue.

8:31 p.m., verbal disturbance at McMillian Street residence; on the open 911 call a female was heard to say, “Did you get the gun?”

8:56 p.m., a male and female are parked behind Five Star on Denmark Drive; female was crying and appears to  have been assaulted; arrest made.

9:39 p.m., possible fire in the area of First Street and Lexington Avenue due to fireworks.

9:43 p.m., vehicle is on fire in driveway on Iroquois Road.

10:54 p.m., extra patrol in the Meadowbrook Drive area due to a recent attempted burglary.
