Rebecca Elias, granddaughter of Eleanor Elias, is a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a minor in business administration. During her time as an undergraduate, Rebecca was the recipient of The Academic Achievement Award for having the highest GPA in her major, and a Chancellor’s Citation for Extraordinary Professional Promise.

This past semester, after her December graduation from U of T, Rebecca has been working as a legislative intern for a Nashville, Tennessee lobbyist group. Rebecca will be attending the University of Tennessee this fall to begin her graduate school education in pursuit of her master’s in public health. Rebecca will be serving as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Health Management and Policy. Rebecca hopes to become a health policy analyst following graduation in May 2018.
