JULY 25

12:25 a.m., shots were heard in the area of railroad tracks near Maple Avenue.

4:29 a.m., caller is reporting that the resident heard a car door and feels someone may have been in the home while she was asleep.

7:59 a.m., report of criminal mischief to a residence on Old Shakertown Road; this is the ninth time in six weeks.

9 a.m., caller on Linietta Drive in Junction City is reporting a possible scam; subject called back insisting on immediate responses.

9:27 a.m., call came into the chief’s phone about a family dispute; arrest made on Mitchell Street in Junction City.

11:37 a.m., there is a mattress on the bypass near Lebanon Road and it’s causing a traffic hazard.

11:45 a.m., officers are to be watching for a subject driving a black pickup truck who stole a plastic water tank in Garrard County over the weekend.

11:49 a.m., caller is requesting an officer meet with her at Grant Street residence to assist in delivering paperwork about dogs at that location.

1:32 p.m., caller on Jefferson Avenue said papers thrown out of a vehicle appear to be suicidal in nature.

2:06 p.m., possible domestic altercation in progress on U.S. 150 where a female driver of a Jeep appears to be trying to run over a male who is walking.

3:52 p.m., a house was broken into sometime since this morning on Russell Street and several items and money are missing.

4:34 p.m., grass fire on the side of Goggin Lane at Winterhawk Road; assistance given.

4:40 p.m., two suspicious subjects in a white pickup truck have pulled up to an abandoned house on Adams Street.

5:57 p.m., two children who appear to be about 5 and 7 are alone in a car parked at Kroger; gone upon officer’s arrival.

6:33 p.m., a female who may be under the influence is shoplifting at Walmart; 6:39 p.m., officer out with the subject who was fleeing from Walmart; arrest made.

7:09 p.m., a female is stuck in the elevator on the fourth floor of the parking garage; 7:19 p.m., assistance given; subject is out of the elevator, which was placed out of service.

7:14 p.m., caller wants to speak to an officer about his concerns of his girlfriend’s son damaging property and assaulting her.

8:46 p.m., vehicle stop at the railroad crossing on West Shelby Street in Junction City; Civil War memorabilia inside vehicle that may be from a Perryville burglary.

10:41 p.m., physical domestic altercation just occurred at Shortline Road residence in Perryville: a male is under the influence and has a BB gun on the front porch; arrest made.

11:41 p.m., a white powder substance has been found on the caller’s back door on White Oak Road.

JULY 26

12:11 a.m., there is a disturbance between two residents on North First Street; trouble settled.

2:46 a.m., the bed of a truck is on fire on Shakertown Road; assistance given.

6:40 a.m., a male is at the police department to turn himself in on warrants.

7:21 a.m., caller wants to pass on information about the suspects from the Walmart thefts.

8:09 a.m., subjects have set up a camp near the water pickup at the dead end of Clifton Road; Sheriff’s Office will check it out when on patrol.

9:41 a.m., officer was flagged down and notified about a dog running loose in the Baughman Avenue area; animal control notified.

10:39 a.m., officer has been requested to check on the welfare of a female on Lebanon Road who is claiming to be walking to Lexington; female is OK and is waiting for a ride that won’t be there until later in the day.

10:45 a.m., a physical altercation just occurred between employees of different contractors at the site of Cattleman’s Steak House construction on the bypass.

11:18 a.m., there is blood on the sidewalk in front of house on Secretariat Drive; the house alarm had gone off overnight.

11:30 a.m., caller from Saddle Ridge Circle is reporting possible harassment by a scam company.

11:34 a.m., a stove is on fire at Northtown Apartments on Hustonville Road.

1:48 p.m., there is a JB Hunt truck unable to make the turn from Fitzpatrick Street or back up.

2:22 p.m., arrest made while removing a person from the property in Junction City.

2:37 p.m., horses are in the road on Lancaster Road.

2:57 p.m., two unknown people are camping at caller’s boat dock; neighbor told her they had left; Sheriff’s Office left a note on the tent, but was unable to locate anyone.

3:19 p.m., a panhandler is walking out into traffic near Kroger when the stop light turns red; 3:34 p.m., another complaint came into police department about pandhandler. 

3:21 p.m., caller is requesting to speak to a supervisor in reference of a complaint of how a situation was handled earlier today at the Cattleman’s Steak House construction site.

3:32 p.m., request from Jessamine County to attempt to locate a stolen boat trailer that may be on White Oak Road; tow company notified.

3:40 p.m., a male is begging for money in the parking lot near Planet Fitness; unable to locate subject.

4:32 p.m., a stove is on fire on Locust Street; pizza boxes were left in the oven.

5:46 p.m., a truck is on fire at the parking garage.

5:59 p.m., a suspicious and unoccupied red truck has been left in the middle of J.E. Woods Drive; wife has arrived on scene with the key.

7:03 p.m., a physical domestic altercation just occurred at East Grubbs Lane; male is under the influence and left in a black pickup truck; Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office notified that driver may be en route to the Moreland area.

7:48 p.m., caller from Count Fleet Circle said a helicopter appears to be in distress; it headed north about two minutes ago.

8:45 p.m., caller said a blue car ran the red light at Maple and Lexington avenues and ran a vehicle off the road; unable to locate subject.

9 p.m., caller is requesting contact with the Boyle County Fire Department captain in reference to illegal use of lights and sirens on a truck; message given to the chief.

9:09 p.m., a physical domestic altercation may be in progress at High Street residence.

9:29 p.m., caller wants to speak to someone about a tip of a Walmart suspect; caller stated she didn’t want to be recorded and hung up.

9:35 p.m., caller heard several gun shots and a vehicle leave heading toward Gwinn Island from address on Shakertown Road.

9:50 p.m., possible trespassers are on Clifton Road in a white car and champagne colored truck; they may have stolen money from a drop box on the dock and are living in a tent; both suspect vehicle stopped.

11:12 p.m., vehicle stop at Fifth and Main streets; arrest made.

11:32 p.m., officer out with an elderly male dragging a suitcase on Hustonville Road; assistance given.
