A Danville woman was injured early Wednesday morning when the vehicle she was driving flipped onto its roof near Kroger.
According to Danville Police, at about 2 a.m. Annalisa Ochs, 50, of Danville, was traveling westbound on the Danville Bypass in a 2013 Hyundai Sonata when witnesses stated she crossed the median into opposing lanes and eventually veered off the highway into the grassy ditch where she continued to drive until rolling the vehicle onto its roof.
Emergency crews extricated Ochs from the vehicle and treated her on scene before transporting her via ambulance to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Police said the extent of her injuries are not yet known, and alcohol is suspected to be a factor.
Officers Robert Ladd and Luke Hughes are investigating.
