James “Sparky” Turner
1946-2017
James “Sparky” Turner, 71 of Danville passed away at his home Saturday, December 23, 2017. Born November 28, 1946, he was the son of the late Riley and Hazel Rexroat Turner. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janice Byrd Turner; one son, James Keith (Janet) Turner of Danville; one daughter, Diane (Scott) Pendygraft of Danville; four brothers: Vernon “Sam” Turner of Danville, Donnie Turner of Moreland, Larry Turner of Lexington and Ricky Turner of Richmond; five sisters: Margaret Goodlett of Harrodsburg, Alice Byrd of Harrodsburg, Carol Whitehouse of Danville, Kathy Sue Jones of Perryville and Patricia Humes of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren: Christopher L. (Bianca) Hansche, Sara (Michael) Bugg, Kristin (Cory) Carney, Bradley Turner, Christopher S. (Katherine) Pendygraft and Heather Pendygraft; and eight great grandchildren. Services will be at 11 am, Thursdayat W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Chaplain Brad King with burial in Springhill Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 pm, Wednesday.
