Casey County grand jury indicts eighteen

The following people were indicted by a Casey County grand jury on July 9:
- Amanda B. Hutchinson, 43, 42 Sheepskin Road, Liberty: first-degree bail jumping by intentionally failing to appear in court for final sentencing. Commonwealth Detective Dennis Allen testified. No bail was given.
- Darlene Randolph, also known as Darlene Floyd, 62, 325 Redbud Road, Waynesburg: first-degree wanton endangerment by discharging a firearm in the direction of Wilbur Floyd. Wilbur Floyd testified. Bond was continued from district court.
- Susan Michelle Monroy, 40, 4515 Ky. 2141, Stanford: possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana. Casey County Sheriff Jerry Coffman testified. Bail was set at $1,500.
- Stephen Branske Bernard, 28, 57 Bernard Lane, Liberty: second-degree assault by shooting victim in the neck with a shotgun; tampering with physical evidence by hiding a shotgun in the closet; first-degree criminal mischief by defacing or destroying a vehicle valued more than $1,000. Martin Wesley with the Kentucky State Police testified. Bail was continued from district court.
- Mackenzie Ann Luttrell, 20, 82 Wheeler Woods Spur, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance; trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces. Wesley testified. Bail was set at $1,500.
- Larry Nicholas Bryant, 39, 125 Broughton Hills, Liberty: possession of a controlled substance, meth; driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; resisting arrest; second-degree disorderly conduct; third-degree criminal trespassing; license to be in possession; no seat belts. Wesley testified. Bail was set at $1,500.
- Dennis Harold Luttrell, 46, 753 Short Town Road, Liberty: possession of a controlled substance, meth; DUI second offense. Bail was set at $1,500. Geoff Brown with the Casey County Sheriff’s Office testified.
- Jerry Lee Watson, also known as Jerry Lee Black, 70, Thompson Street, Middleburg: possession of a controlled substance, meth, third or more offense; prescription controlled substance not in proper container. Bail was continued from district court. Brown testified.
- Erica P. Lemons, 24, 304 Bridge Point Lane, Columbia: complicity to commit theft by unlawful taking between $500 and $10,000. Bail was set at $1,500 cash only. Brown testified.
- Michael Anthony Tetreault, 26, 119 Phillips St., Liberty: two counts theft by unlawful taking valued between $500 and $10,000; two counts first-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only. Brown testified.
- Shannon Renee Lawhorn, also known as Shannon Renee Brown, 41, 4693 Little South Road, Gravel Switch: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third or more offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; second-degree fleeing or evading police. Bail was set at $20,000. Chad Weddle with the CCSO testified.
- Jody Ann Feese, 30, 9235 Ky. 698, Hustonville: third-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $500 and $10,000. Bail was continued from district court. Weddle testified.
- James M. Phelps, 27, 9235 Ky. 698, Hustonville: third-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $500 and $10,000. Bail was continued from district court. Weddle testified.
- Belinda Jean Spears, 38, 989 Hustonville St., Liberty: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; first-degree persistent felony offender; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was continued from district court. Weddle testified.
- Randy Lee Bloodworth, 37, 1362 Martins Creek Road, Liberty: receiving stolen property valued between $500 and $10,000; tampering with physical evidence; first-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $1,500. Weddle testified.
- William Austin Phelps, 19, 1362 Martins Creek Road, Liberty: third-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking between $500 and $10,000; tampering with physical evidence; first-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $1,5000. Weddle testified.
- Jeremy R. Sears, 28, 3870 Moccasin Road, Hustonville: first-degree fleeing or evading police; first-degree persistent felony offender; possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; no or expired plates; no seat belts; improper display of registration plates; no registration receipt; failure to transfer vehicle; reckless driving; no driver’s insurance. - Chad Allen Peyton, 34, address not given: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third or more offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; public intoxication. No bail was listed; weddle testified.
