Jake Mattingly tries to get black paint off his hands after helping to paint a fence in front of DCA. His mother, who also painted, said she hopes they can get the paint off before the first day of school on Wednesday. His dad, Robbie, laughed and said it would have to wear off.
Volunteers were busy outside Danville Christian Academy Monday afternoon, giving the fence along Ky. 33 a fresh coat of paint. School starts back at the private school on Wednesday.
