This week our featured pets are Kara and Abel.
Kara is a pretty one-and-a-half-year-old domestic short haired kitty. She is a black and white tuxedo, which means she has a white chest and white on all four paws. Kara was brought to the humane society in April and was a friendly stray. So this sweet girl has been waiting a while for her special person to choose her for adoption. Kara does great with other cats and she will follow people around like a puppy. Wouldn’t you like to give Kara the loving home she deserves?
Abel is a handsome three-year-old Beagle mix. He was a stray brought in by a caring citizen. Since Abel’s owner has not been located, he is now available for adoption. Abel is good with other dogs and he is a very affectionate fellow. He will readily greet strangers with a wagging tail and puppy kisses. Abel weighs about 25 lbs. and does well on leash. Come take this charming boy for a walk and see if you end up with a new best friend!
PetSmart Charities is sponsoring a National Adoption Event this weekend. The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society will be participating at our adoption center at the Brannon Crossing PetSmart on Hwy 27 just north of Nicholasville. The event will feature many adorable kitties, puppies and dogs in need of loving forever homes. Come and visit our animals at PetSmart in Brannon Crossing on Saturday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and on Sunday from noon-5 p.m. If you are considering adding a new pet to your family, this will be the perfect opportunity to find your new best friend.
