All five candidates running for the three seats on the Danville Independent Schools Board of Education will attend a public forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at Gravely Hall at Danville High School. The Danville Education Association and the Danville Schools Education Foundation are sponsoring the event.

Candidates are Glen Ball, Steve Becker (incumbent), Aaron Etherington, Paul Smiley and Michael Strysick.

The format will allow each candidate to have two minutes for opening and closing remarks and the opportunity to answer questions asked by the moderator, Barry Peel.
