Griffin nominated for DAISY award
Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care. Kelli Griffin, BSN, RN, SANE, a nurse in the Emergency Department, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award. A resident of Mercer County, Kelli has been caring for patients at Haggin for the past 14 years.
She was nominated for the award by a coworker, who said, “Kelli is by far one of the best nurses I have ever worked with. Her bedside care and attentiveness to both patients and their family members is exceptional. She always portrays a positive attitude toward patients, families and co-workers. It is an absolute joy to work with her and I would ask her to care after one of my own family members in a heartbeat.”
Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day. Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford and Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg.
