Garrard County grand jury indicts 15

The following people were indicted by a Garrard County grand jury on June 21:
- Adam Guthrie, 36, Harrodsburg: flagrant nonsupport more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Jeri Pruett with the Office of Child Support testified.
- Shawna Ratliff, 33, Richmond: flagrant nonsupport more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash and Pruett testified.
- Valerie Williams, 36, Alabama: flagrant nonsupport more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash and Pruett testified.
- Felicia Hocker, 40, Maysville: flagrant nonsupport more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash and Pruett testified.
- Tony Saylor, 44, Crab Orchard: flagrant nonsupport more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash and Pruett testified.
- Barrett Prewitt, 31, Wilmore: flagrant nonsupport more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash and Pruett testified.
- Dale Parker, 39, Lancaster; and Joseph Bickett, 20, Lancaster: first-degree burglary and threatened victim with a dangerous instrument. Bail was set at $5,000 each. Officer Weston with the Garrard County Police Department testified.
- Jesse Foley, 33, Crab Orchard: theft by unlawful taking of a vehicle valued between $500 and $10,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Officer Reynolds with the Lancaster Police Department testified.
- Edward Warner, 21, Columbia: theft of a motor vehicle registration plate. Summons was issued and Reynolds testified.
- Cameron Amburgey, 32, Lancaster: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $2,500 and Reynolds testified.
- Nathan Caldwell, 31, Lancaster: second-degree criminal abuse to a child younger than 12 and subjected the child to cruel punishment. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Trooper Shepherd with Kentucky State Police testified.
- Dylan Reyes, 18, Stanford: public intoxication with a controlled substance; third-degree assault of an officer; second-degree fleeing or evading police; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana. Summons was issued and Officer Napier with the GCPD testified.
- Edward Penman, 50, Lancaster: first-degree fleeing or evading police in a vehicle; two counts first-degree wanton endangerment in a vehicle. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Officer Napier with the GCPD testified.
- Nathan Rankin, 37, Lancaster: driving under the influence of intoxicants; first-degree assault with a dangerous instrument. Bail was set at $5,000 cash and Preston testified.
- Kyle Long, 44, Nicholasville: second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument (check); theft by deception with a forged check. Summons was issued. Eric Taylor with the GCPD testified.
