As the 2019-20 school year begins, work at Sweet Blessings ramps up accordingly and we need volunteers to help with the increasing number of custom birthday cakes we will make.

Sweet Blessings is a non-profit ministry that makes custom birthday cakes for children living in poverty, with a life-threatening illness or with special needs. We have three locations, Lexington, Frankfort and Harrodsburg.

The Harrodsburg location needs volunteers to bake, frost, decorate and box cakes for delivery. So if you are looking to volunteer in your community and have a few hours on Thursdays to spend helping make a child’s birthday extra special, please contact us. No experience is necessary; our veterans will teach you everything you need to know.

The Harrodsburg location operates out of Ellers Memorial Baptist Church, 446 Cogar Street. For times, contact founder and Executive Director Ashley Gann, ashley@sweetblessingscakes.org.
