VISUAL ART

Boyle County High School student art show, through Dec. 31 in Mahan Gallery of the Boyle County Public Library (BCPL), 307 W. Broadway St., Danville. Featuring the works of art students in Carrie Snow’s class. Sponsored by the Arts Commission of Danville-Boyle County.

Trees of the Season: Celebrate the Spectrum, through Dec. 27 at Community Arts Center (CAC), 401 W. Main St., Danville. Presented in partnership with the Special Persons Advocacy Network, features trees decorated by community groups serving individuals with disabilities. Also on exhibit:  My New Kentucky Home, a photography exhibit by Emma Jackson exploring the struggles and triumphs of Kentucky’s resettled refugees. Ordinary Madness, at New Editions Gallery, 500 W. Short St., Lexington. Featuring Rodney Hatfield, aka Art Snake, who has built an enviable career as an artist and musician. In his latest exhibit, the images reach deep into the realm where darkness and light dwell, drawing viewers into a rich, imagined world. Musical interludes will feature members of Tin Can Buddha.
