Veronica “Ronnie” Jean Burg Camargo, 92, died February 6, 2021 in Danville. Born December 26, 1928 in Flushing, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph William Burg and Josephine Rosalie Julia Adams Burg. Ronnie was a secretary for Canny trucking company in Binghamton, New York and then later at Centre College in Danville. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and devoted her life to her family and her church. She is predeceased by her husband Mario Camargo; two sisters Virginia Cadigan and Rosemary Jordan; and one brother William Burg. She is survived by her five sons, Martin (Sandy) Camargo, Thomas (Anne) Camargo, William (Miriam) Camargo, Joseph (Mary) Camargo, Francis (Crystal) Collins-Camargo; four daughters, Jeanne (Alan) Dodak, Elizabeth (Randy) Faulx, Catherine (Debbie) Camargo, Irene Camargo (the late Mark); ten grandchildren Hannah Raya, Jay (Charlene) Faulx, David Faulx, Alyssa Camargo, Jenna Camargo, Lauren Camargo, Casey (Sydney) Camargo, Will (Katie) Camargo, Matt (Jennifer) Camargo, Catherine Camargo; five great grandchildren Hannah Faulx, Abbi Faulx, Maria Camargo, Hayden Vaughn and Willow Sophia Camargo. The funeral mass for Mario and Veronica will be held at a later date in April. Celebrant will be Father Anthony McLaughlin. Interment will be at Bellevue Cemetery.
