Boyle Clerk’s office closed until Wednesday due to COVID exposure

An employee at the Boyle County Clerk’s office has tested positive for COVID 19 therefore County Clerk Trille Bottom has closed the office through Tuesday, Feb. 16.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing the office to distance our employees from customers and stop the potential for spreading the virus in the community,” Bottom said.
The clerk’s office handles property records and vehicle transfers and taxes. Bottom said every employee will be tested for the virus before returning to work next week and the office will be sanitized prior to reopening at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Bottom said the county’s COVID cases are dropping “and we want to keep it that way.”
