    Charlie is a super sweet 9-month-old tabby and white kitty. He has big beautiful eyes and he loves to check out his surroundings. Charlie seems to be a very adaptable cat. Not much fazes him. He gets along well with other cats and meeting new people means getting to make new friends to Charlie. If you are looking for a cool cat to add to your family, come and spend some time with this sociable fellow. 

Cisco is a handsome 7-month-old mixed breed puppy. He probably has a lot of lab in his background. Cisco has a shiny black coat with some white markings including a cute stripe on his forehead. Cisco was part of a large, unwanted litter and most of his siblings have been adopted. Cisco just hasn’t met his special person yet, but that could change any day. Wouldn’t you like to be the person who changes Cisco’s life for the better?

    How about making a New Year’s resolution to donate a few hours each month to a non-profit organization? The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society needs enthusiastic volunteers to assist our staff at our adoption center at the Brannon Crossing PetSmart just north of Nicholasville. A few hours of your time on Saturday or Sunday afternoon can make a big difference in the lives of our homeless animals.  This work is both fun and rewarding. Find a friend and volunteer together and you will get to spend time with our adorable animals and at the same time you will be saving lives.
