Ephraim McDowell Health welcomes Dr. Kalia Howard, Au.D, CCC-A, F-AAA, audiologist, to the medical staff.  Dr. Howard will practice with doctors Jonathan Doty, Kyle Fletcher and Christopher Frisch, and audiologist, Tracy Galloway, Au.D., at Ephraim McDowell Ear, Nose & Throat.

Howard graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Murray State University.  She then graduated with a doctoral degree in audiology from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans.  She is a part of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology.  She has a special interest in cochlear implants, vestibular evaluations and hearing aids. Howard spent three years of training in hearing and balance at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans as well as an externship at Southeast Kentucky Audiology in Corbin.

Howard lives in Harrodsburg with her husband and their pets, a goldendoodle and an American short-haired cat. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking and kayaking.
