The Boyle County Fiscal Court passed the second reading of the fiscal year 2023 budget on June 28.
In a previous meeting, magistrates discussed their allocation of $200,000 to the EDA and nothing to the EDP. Since the EDP is morphing into a new organization, the court may add or amend an allocation once the new organization is formed.
In the June 28 meeting, the court voted to pass changes to the county’s administrative code, which needed to be done at the same time as the budget. The court also passed a motion to include wage increases in the budget.
