This week’s featured pets are Bailey and Xena, newcomers to the adoption floor. Paws crossed we find them a home before they turn into longtimers!
Looking for a handsome, friendly, trainable dog? Look no further than Bailey. This big boy has a spotted coat and long, soft, floppy ears that sway when he runs and plays. Bailey is estimated to be about six years old, and although he’s a mixed-breed, he sure looks like he has some German Shorthaired Pointer in his DNA.
Bailey appears regal and mature in his picture but believe me: this guy is a hoot and a half! He bounds out into the yard and gallops like a clumsy pony when we open his kennel door. Once he gets his fill of exploring, Bailey runs to the humans for attention. He’s not much for kissing, but Bailey will nuzzle your neck and ask for pets. He practically swoons, closing his sweet brown eyes in pleasure.
Bailey needs to put on some weight to become his healthiest self and would appreciate plenty of TLC, too. Why not give Bailey a chance to blossom in your home?
The first thing you’ll notice about Xena is her stunning ice-blue eyes; then, you’ll be dazzled by her infectious smile. Xena is around two and a half years old, and she’s pretty, sturdy, and super fluffy. You’ll love cuddling with her.
Xena will love cuddling with you, too! She offers gentle kisses and leans on you for a good scratch under her chin and behind her whiskery ears. She’ll tilt her head back in appreciation as if asking politely that you never stop!
Xena’s favorite thing in the world is people, and she’s never met a stranger. She prefers to bask in the attention of her humans and would like a home without other animals. No big deal, though, because Xena has enough love to fill your heart and home.
You’ll adore this warrior princess at first sight. Don’t wait – meet Xena today!
Xena and Bailey are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home.
