This week’s featured pets are Macy and Cliff, two sweethearts looking for their special Valentine. Macy came to the humane society a few days ago, but dear Cliff has been at the shelter for more than six months. No matter how well the shelter staff cares for the dogs, a kennel is no place for a pup to live, especially for so long. Let’s change their circumstances and find them a family.

Are you ready for some goofball? Then say hello to Cliff. This lover-boy is a cutie who appears to be a jumble of spare parts: his head is big and blocky, his body is long, his legs are short, and his two front paws turn out. He may look goofy, but Cliff is more than the sum of his parts. His sweet nature is sure to win you over.

A mixed-breed dog around two years old, Cliff adores everybody. When we approach his kennel, he’s so excited to see us that he spins around in tight little circles. Once he’s in the yard, Cliff lets loose, frolicking with joy. He finishes playtime by zooming over to the human for some affection.

Cliff has an affection for treats, too. Any treat at any time will make him happy. Cliff’s a treat himself and will make a great snuggle buddy. Can he cozy up with you?

Macy is a little sparkplug. She’s only three months old and practically the dictionary definition of a puppy: silly, clumsy, adorable, energetic, and playful. Bonus: Macy hasn’t made a mess in her kennel. Instead, she uses the outside portion to go potty.

The young pup has a unique look, and although she’s a mixed breed, Macy might have some Shar Pei in her DNA. There aren’t many wrinkles, but that head of hers has a broad muzzle. Who knows? Better yet: who cares? Macy is darling

Macy is friendly to everyone she meets. She wants to crawl into your lap, get some pets, nuzzle your neck, and give lots of kisses. Adopt her today so she can love on you.

Macy and Cliff are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and want to be home by Valentine’s Day.
