Nature’s Thyme group to meet for garden tour

Nature’s Thyme Herb Group meeting this month will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 8 and is a garden tour at the home of Nell Manning, 3225 U.S. 27 South, Stanford. Light refreshments provided by Paula Scott. Contact the Garrard County extension office to reserve you seat, (859)-792-3026.

Toliver Site Based Council changes meeting date 

Toliver Elementary School Site Based Council meeting will be 4 p.m. Thursday, June 8 at the school. It was rescheduled from Tuesday, May 30. 

Lodge to have breakfast

Danville’s Franklin Masonic Lodge will have a country breakfast 7-10 a.m. Saturday, June 3 at the lodge hall, 400 North Fourth St. The menu includes pork tenderloin, country ham, sausage, bacon, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, coffee, orange juice and pastries. Everyone is welcome.
