Police blotter from Feb. 24, 25, 26, 27, 28

FEBRUARY 24

12:29 a.m., complaint that someone is using a hammer on the wall at apartment at Off Broadway Homes; police requests EMS for an unresponsive subject.

6:58 a.m., caller on Scrubgrass Road is reporting that his son is going crazy and tearing up the property; additional call reporting that the subjects are a son and an adult neighbor friend who are involved; the friend has an injury to his head; son may have gone unconscious right before deputies arrived; son was asleep and ton unconscious; neighbor was located and was just intoxicated, and didn’t need EMS.

7:45 a.m., a physical domestic altercation occurred about 5 a.m.; arrest made on Johnson Branch Road.

11:07 a.m., caller is requesting assistance or options in reference of tracking down a family member who abandoned her children in Versailles.

11:50 a.m., caller hasn’t heard from her daughter and two grandchildren in about two months.

12:01 p.m., vehicle stop at Third and Broadway; arrest made.

12:31 p.m. caller is requesting to know which officer is looking for her and why.

12:37 p.m., injury accident on Gose Pike and the bypass.

2:01 p.m., a male is screaming at the caller at Constitution Square.

2:41 p.m., a female at Super 8 Motel is under the influence of narcotics; an employee located her 4-year-old child unattended in the hallway; social services contacted and arrest made.

4:12 p.m., possible attempted burglary occurred overnight at Glitz & Glamour; extra patrol requested.

6:06 p.m., caller is requesting a social worker come to the house; custody has been given to grandmother and father has been made to leave this address until court.

9:55 p.m., complaint that four vehicles are parked in handicap spaced with no visible placard at Danville Cinemas 8.

FEBRUARY 25

2:36 a.m., a male walking on West Lexington Avenue may be intoxicated; unable to locate.

3:25 a.m., caller is reporting that a male was trying to sell the caller drugs on West Lexington Avenue.

3:30 a.m., the driver of a diesel truck with a cracked head isn’t able to get the engine to shut off at U.S. 127 and Fackler Street; driver is concerned it’s going to explode and the vehicle is loaded with 6,500 gallons of diesel fuel.

7:02 a.m., a male has been riding around inside Walmart on the electric wheelchair and he smells of alcohol; arrest made.

7:53 a.m., paperwork is needed in reference to a possible stabbing that occurred on Waterworks Road; no assistance is requested.

1:53 p.m., caller is requesting a phone call about suspicious activity in the Kinnaird Kelley Lane area.

3:08 p.m., caller has located what she believes is narcotics at Off Centre Laundry and Tanning.

3:33 p.m., several calls are coming into the 911 center in reference to a Snapchat post about Jessamine County school threat from about one to two weeks ago; the two male subjects were cleared on Feb. 18 in connection to this threat on the schools; the Facebook threat has started again from a female in Danville who is now circulating the post around.

4:55 p.m., caller at Guadalajara on Hustonville Road is requesting an officer due to a cat on the sidewalk that is dead and it scared him; units will not respond.

7:48 p.m., two males in a silver car are egging a building on High Street.

9:57 p.m., arrest made at Boyd Avenue residence; officer is assisting KSP.

FEBRUARY 26

12:19 a.m., a male has been detained in parking lot behind the police department; subject has been entered as being violent toward other agencies and has threatened law enforcement; male tried to assault officers with a knife and said he wanted to die; then he decided it was a better idea to kill officers; arrest made.

2:53 a.m., emergency room staff is requesting an officer with assistance with someone who is refusing to leave the ER.

12:48 p.m., papers served and arrest made on Nichols Street.

3:44 p.m., report of criminal mischief to a vehicle parked overnight on Bonnie Court.

3:47 p.m., a Boyle County school bus has pulled over to the side of the road and its hazard lights flashing; officer advised everyone is OK.

3:50 p.m., caller from J.E. Woods Drive is reporting property damage to a black vehicle has been going on for two years; officer said it appears a cat has jumped on the car; caller is requesting extra patrol.

6:03 p.m., caller said a dog at Gwinn Island Road residence charged at the caller.

6:56 p.m., vehicle stop on Skywatch Drive; arrest made.

7:45 p.m., vehicle stop at Walnut Street and Stanford Avenue; pistol located; arrest made.

FEBRUARY 27

1:52 a.m., vehicle stop at Off Broadway; arrest made.

FEBRUARY 28

7:44 a.m., report that Shepherd’s House was broken into through a side window and cash was taken.

8:06 a.m., officer at Boyle County Board of Education on citation for a meeting.

8:31 a.m., a 33-year-old male may have overdosed on heroin; female caller then advised he was awake and she didn’t think it was an overdose; arrest made.

9:13 a.m., elementary school is requesting an officer check on the welfare of a 5-year-old child who has missed a lot of school.

10:09 a.m., investigation at the Boyle County Health Department.

11:09 a.m., caller saw a female chasing a heavy-set male around a parking lot on Whirl-a-way Drive.

12:11 p.m., there is a distraught juvenile female walking on Perryville Road near the entrance to Millennium Park; unable to locate.

12:37 p.m., two-vehicle non-injury accident at traffic light near Kroger.

2:18 p.m., request to check on the welfare of occupants of a maroon, 4-door truck that was being driven recklessly and parked in front of the post office; a toddler in the vehicle is unrestrained; unable to locate vehicle.

2:18 p.m., caller said an elderly male has been outside the Caldwell Street residence since at least 5 a.m.; he may have locked himself out; male checked out OK and he was waiting for his girlfriend to return.

3:33 p.m., an 11-year-old child is threatening suicide.

3:48 p.m., notice of a subject who is armed and dangerous, an arsonist, assaultive and has made threats toward law enforcement.

3:50 p.m., kittens are stuck in a drain on Stanford Road near Danville Memorial Gardens; referred to humane society.

3:56 p.m., officer at Boyle County Health Department in reference to an earlier burglary.

4:23 p.m., caller from Lisa Avenue wants to speak to an officer about her dog being hit by a car.

5:26 p.m., caller believes that a male who is connected to the Walmart or Hobby Lobby theft is inside of Kroger; unable to locate subject.

6:01 p.m., a 34-year-old male is overdosing on heroin on Perryville Road.

8:34 p.m., caller from West Erskine Drive is reporting a male came to the residence advising he is with Kentucky Utilities and they are going to cut off the electricity for a while to trim trees; KU is on scene trimming trees.

10:03 p.m., suspect investigation at Boyle County High School; assistance given.

10:53 p.m., an under-age female is drinking at Applebee’s; unable to locate.

11:11 p.m., vehicle stop on Skywatch Drive; out with an unresponsive male; arrest made.
