Gloria D (Ball) Bonner

Gloria D (Ball) Bonner

1937 – 2021

Gloria D (Ball) Bonner (83) passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Gloria is better known to her friends and family as “Mimi”, which is the name her third grandchild (Emily) chose for her. After living over 80 years in Atlanta, Georgia, Mimi spent the last few years with her family in Danville, Kentucky. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Bonner; by her parents, Duard and Camille Daily; and, by her brother Lee Daily. Mimi is survived by her children Russell Alan Bradford (Tina) and Laura Ball Johnson (West) and by four grandchildren Justin Alan Bradford (Faith), Jordan Patrick Bradford, Emily Nicole Jacobsen, and Katie Belle Reed (Dalen).

Prior to retirement, Mimi ran a successful business called Gloria Ball & Associates. Her company sold large fountains, statuaries, and decorative planters made from stone, terra cotta, etc. to commercial businesses, global hotel chains and restaurants. Mimi loved her work.

Mimi loved the Lord and dedicated her life to Him. Heaven is surely rejoicing with her arrival! She was an enthusiastic member of Mountain West Church of God in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and was more than devoted to her church family.

Mimi had a magnetic personality and a kind, gentle, loving spirit that drew people to her. She never met a stranger and was dearly loved by all who knew her; however, none loved Mimi more deeply than her family. Every conversation ended with “I love you most!” Our memories of you will never fade Mimi…we’ll always love you most!

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Mountain West Church of God, 4818 Hugh Howell Road, Stone Mountain, Georgia 30019. Please sign the online guestbook or send a Hugs from Home at www.stithcares.com.
