The recent steamy days of early summer are leading many area folks to the splash pad in Danville, located on Lexington Road in front of the water treatment plant.
Just about on any given morning, afternoon, and evening, children of all ages can be found darting in and out of streams of water shooting out of the ground as well as from balls, buckets, and pipes. And lots of picnickers also enjoy sitting under the giant sycamore for shade.
