Boyle County’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be Saturday, August 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It will be at the Boyle County Recycling Center at 1862 South Danville Bypass in Danville.

The center will be accepting common hazardous waste, such as motor oil, antifreeze, batteries, paint, pesticides, sealants, fluorescent tubes, drain cleaners, etc.

The local radio station WHIR-WRNZ will be broadcasting the event and will be serving hamburgers, hotdogs and ice cold Pepsi.
