Peggy Quinn Frye

Peggy Quinn Frye was born in Mitchellsburg, Kentucky on September 5, 1941. She passed suddenly at the University of Kentucky Hospital and went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Peggy was the daughter of the late Earl Thomas Quinn and Kathryn Price Quinn of Mitchellsburg. She was a graduate of the class of 1960 at Perryville High School and later graduated from Fugazzi Business College in Lexington in 1961. A former employee of Fayette County Public Schools and Keeneland, she made many great memories and even greater friendships. She was a member of the Mitchellsburg Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, road trips, and spending time with friends and family. She was selflessly kind, generous, and loving.
Peggy leaves behind her husband of 62 years, William “Bill” Keith Frye; daughter, Pamela Ann (Richard Kent) Florence; and beloved granddaughter, Mara Quinn Florence, all of Lexington.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be 12:30-2:30 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to a local charity of one’s choice.
