Michael Scott Anderson, 58, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. Mike was born May 18, 1965 in Danville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Mary Evelon Wilson and Elvin Anderson.
Mike worked in the HVAC business for over 20 years. In addition to enjoying his work and spending time with coworkers, Mike enjoyed Golf, Basketball, and Football. He was a UK fan and an avid fan of the BCHS Rebels where he was a 1983 graduate. Most of all, Mike loved God and was a long-time member of Doctors Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include his brother, Greg (Kelly) Anderson, niece, Molly (Jacob) Cooper, and nephew, Logan Anderson.
The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Doctors Fork Baptist Church with Pastor John David Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m., until 12:00 p.m., also at Doctors Fork Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Claude Farmer, Terry Stephens, Corey Simpson, Donnie Larmour, Junior Daugherty, and Kenny Wise.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Napier, Bobby Sheperson, and Bobby Gorley.
