Dr. Jerry E. Joyner, 82, of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Hospice Compassionate Care Center.
Jerry was a long time professor at Eastern Kentucky University in the Department of Applied Arts and Technology. He was also a car enthusiast and artist.
Jerry was the husband of Diane Joyner and father of Cindi Hazelwood (Dr. Scott Hazelwood). Jerry was blessed with two grandchildren, Hunter Hazelwood (Kelsey) and Dr. Hannah Madden (Spencer). He also has a great-grandson, Beckham Madden.
There will be no formal funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Hospice Care Plus, 350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond, KY 40475, or to the charity of one’s choice.
