Juanita Hardgrove

Juanita Kathleen Hardgrove, 89, of Danville, passed away February 5, 2024 in Danville. She was born February 8, 1934 in Parksville, Kentucky to the late James Lewis and Lois Grugin Randolph. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur L. Hardgrove. 

Juanita was a Legal Secretary for over 25 years for Silliman and Dishman Attorneys at Law and also worked for the State of Kentucky- Division of Child Support for 24 years. Juanita was a faithful employee of Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home for over 20 years. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Junction City. Juanita loved church activities, watching The Lawrence Welk Show, Doc Martin, going to Gatlinburg with Jamie, going out to eat, Billy Graham, Willie Nelson, and Donald Trump. 

Surviving is her loving daughter, Jamie Thomas Bright (John) of Danville. Preceding her in death was her granddaughter whom she adored, Danielle Rene Thomas and siblings, Danny B. Randolph, Glenna R. Kissinger, and Louis Steven Randolph. 

Funeral services were 1:30 pm Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Derrel Cone officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 – 8pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Jim Spurlin, Dr. Don Hamner, Brock Jones, Jericho Ware, Blake Cushing, Eric Sallee, and Paul Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Heritage Hospice Staff and Ashley Wethington. A special thank you to Landmark of Danville and Heritage Hospice for their love and excellent care. Memorial contributions are preferred to Heritage Hospice and Danielle Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Farmers Bank.
