Harold “Eddie” Cummins, Jr., 63

Harold “Eddie” Cummins, Jr., 63, of Junction City, passed away April 5, 2024. He was born on October 30, 1960 to Peggy Anderson Cummins and the late Harold “Buddy” Cummins. Eddie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Anita Curtis Cummins both of Junction City. Eddie worked for Phillips Lighting for over 32 years and was currently working for Corning, Incorporated. Eddie was a member of First Christian Church in Junction City. He was a wonderful provider and a hard-worker. Eddie dearly loved his girls and his grandchildren. He enjoyed making people laugh and smile. 

Surviving are two daughters, Jessica Scattergood (Michael) and Haley Carlock (Cameron), both of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Blair and Blake Scattergood and Nora Carlock; brother-in-laws, Archie Curtis of Junction City and Larry Curtis of Danville; a sister-in-law, Nancy Brown (David) of Danville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Buddy Cummins, and mother and father-in-law, Jasper and Juanita Curtis. 

Funeral services will be 11am on April 10, 2024 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Michael Scattergood, Cameron Carlock, David Brown, Tommy Campbell, Archie Curtis, and Larry Curtis. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Belcher, Ricky Burton, Barry Gibson, Robert Cawdell, and Brandon Wooten. www.preston-pruitt.com
