The Boyle County Board of Education approved a 3% salary increase for all district staff. This decision reflects the board’s commitment to maintaining Boyle County as one of the highest-paid districts in the state.

Despite the legislative passage of a 4% increase in the Support Education Excellence in Kentucky (SEEK) funding, the additional funds only supported a 1.5% pay raise. Boyle County Schools have managed to achieve this significant raise through prudent financial management and being exceptional stewards of taxpayer dollars. Through careful financial management and strategic planning, the district has maintained a healthy fund balance, allowing the prioritization and investment in staff compensation. Since 2018, Boyle County has achieved a total of 16% in pay increases for its staff.

In addition to the staff salary increase, the board also approved an extensive extra service salary schedule. The enhanced schedule supports a wide range of extracurricular programs, further enriching the educational experiences within the district.
