The Danville Independent School Department Equity Council announced that Summer Youth Nights at the Park will be happening again this year. There will be free food, music, games, prizes and family-friendly fun.

The first Summer Youth Night will be on Thursday, June 13. Free food will be provided by Fazoli’s that night. Games will include basketball, volleyball, kickball, cornhole, the skate park, and more.

Summer Youth Nights will take place at Millennium Park at the pavilion by the basketball courts, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the following Thursdays throughout the summer: June 13, June 20, June 27; July 11, July 18, July 25; and Aug. 1.

These events are geared toward Danville High School and John W. Bate Middle School students. Event dates and the location are subject to change, depending on weather and other factors.
