McDowell House Museum and Apothecary is unveiling two brand new summer after hours tours Friday, June 21 and Friday, June 28.

Tour start times are 5:15, 5:30, 6 and 6:15 p.m. and last approximately one hour.

Admission for adults 19-61 is $14, seniors 62+ and active duty military with ID is $12, youth 13-18 is $7, children 5-12 is $6, and ages 4 and under are free.

This tour is perfect for clubs, date nights, church and community organizations, families and more, who can tour this beautiful home, apothecary and gardens and learn about the groundbreaking surgery that Dr. Ephraim McDowell conducted there in 1809.

The museum is located at 125 S. 2nd Street in Danville.
