The Run The Runway 5K race at the Danville-Boyle County Airport is happening Saturday, June 22 from 8 a.m. to noon.

As part of their 90th anniversary, the airport is shutting down their runways of Stuart Powell Field to give runners a unique race course. There will be static displays along the route, featuring the best of Kentucky’s aviation community.

Medals will be given to the top three runners in different age groups for both male and female finalists. People can sign up for the race at runsignup.com/Race/Info/KY/Danville/RunTheRunway5KDreamflight.
