Janet Sue Ponsell, 73, of Brunswick, went to be with her Savior Thursday, June 20, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday, June 25, 2024 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Crandall officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Mike Heath, Vincent Heath, Riley Ponsell, John Ponsell, Brent Pike, Ronald Pike, serving as pallbearers. Born November 12, 1950 in Danville, Kentucky to the late Albert Belcher and Ellen W. Kocher, she was a graduate of Danville High School Class of 1968. She had been a resident of Brunswick since 1969. She was employed with Seaside Ophthalmology for over 17 years. Mrs. Ponsell was a member of First Baptist Church of Brunswick, and the Pilots Club. She enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years James Terry Ponsell, and a brother, Danny Pike. Survivors include her children, Tammy Heath and husband Mike and John Ponsell all of Brunswick, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a sister, Donna Hafley, and three brothers, Brent Pike, Ronald Pike of Danville, Kentucky, and Greg Kocher of Lexington, Kentucky.
