Pet of the Week

The Pet of the Week is Link, a 2-and-a-half-year-old mixed-breed doggo with a heart of gold and a personality that lights up the room.

This handsome boy has been at the shelter since the beginning of April! Why, you say? Who knows?!

From the moment he wakes up in the morning, Link is ready to shower staff and volunteers with love and affection; he thrives on attention and always wants to be as close to you as possible. Like, on-top-of-you-close!

Whether he’s romping in the yard or snuggling up for a nap, Link’s sweet spirit is endearing. He has a knack for making everyone around him smile and laugh with his silly antics. Bonus: Link is a quick learner and is great walking on a leash – no pulling or dragging you around.

He’s one of those guys who prefers to be the center of your universe and will thrive in an environment where he can receive all the attention and love he deserves, so no cats or dogs, thankyouverymuch! No worries, though: Link will form strong bonds with your family and provide enough unwavering loyalty and love to keep you fulfilled and content.

Link is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and more than ready to go home. Meet him 1-5 pm Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday, noon-5, Thursday, 11-7, Friday, noon- 4, and 10-3 on Saturday.  Apply now: dbchs.org/adopt. We hope to see you soon!
