Hustonville woman arrested after found driving stolen car

Danville Police were notified by Flock Safety Cameras of a stolen vehicle within the city limits on Sunday, July 28 just after 2 p.m.

Danville Police located the vehicle in question, a 2016 Dodge Journey.  A traffic stop was conducted in the area of Wilderness Road and East Broadway St.  The operator, Kayla Howell, 32, of Hustonville was taken into custody without incident.

The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Lincoln County.  Howell was lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center and charged with receiving stolen property.

Howell was also found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Howell was charged additionally with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
