1923-2016
Juanita Burton Wilder, 93, of Perryville passed away Saturday Sept. 24, 2016. She was the widow of William F. “Bill” Wilder. She was born March 10, 1923 in Mercer County, a daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Bottoms Burton.
Juanita’s working career began at the Cinderella Shop, later she and her husband owned and operated Boyle Typewriter Company and Wilder Office Machines for many years. Her career ended with retirement from Watson Department Store.

Juanita is survived by three children and their spouses, Mike and JoNell Wilder, Tony and Sandy Wilder, and Mary Ann and Bill Brown, all of Perryville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister and brother, Rose Teele and Charlie Burton both of Harrodsburg, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Joni, and a brother Raymond Burton, Sr.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at Perryville Christian Church with Reverends Joe Hood and Matthew Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, from 5-9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Perryville Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be Raymond, Joe, Jack, Eddie, Bobby Burton, Joe and Clint Wilder, and Debbie Norman.
Honorary bearers will be granddaughters, Erica, Adrienne and Megan.
