Lisa Marie Farkas, 65, of Danville, KY, formerly Joliet, Illinois died on October 28, 2024. Born on December 3, 1958, in Joliet, IL, to the late Harold and Marie Brunner. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Michael Farkas, her son Kevin Michael Farkas, and her sister Diane Marie Hoehn.
Lisa was known for her love of bowling, family gatherings, and her talent for needlework, including cross-stitching and crocheting.
In a selfless act, Lisa signed up with the Illinois Organ Donor registry, ensuring that even in passing, her legacy lives on by helping those in need.
Lisa is survived by her son, Christopher (Bianca) Farkas, her brother, Harold (Mary) Brunner, Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Following her wishes, Lisa chose to be an organ donor with the Kentucky Organ Donor Association, before her ashes were buried with her husband at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet, Illinois.
