Dakota “Blue” Shearer

1980-2017

Dakota “Blue” Shearer, 36, of Danville, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, in Danville. He is survived by his loving wife, Laci. He was born on November 23, 1980, in Boyle County, KY to Larry and Susan Tate Shearer.

Blue worked as a barber at Still Cuttin’ Up. He was a devoted Michigan Wolverines Football fan.

Also surviving is a son, Samuel Shearer of Danville; two daughters, Cloe Shearer of Danville and Isabel Shearer of Danville; a step son, Levi Odson of Morganfield, KY; a step daughter, Dayle Timmons; three brothers, Brian Shearer (Rebecca) of Stanford, Austin Shearer (Liz) of Danville, and Cheyenne Shearer (Andie) of Moreland, KY; two nephews, Camden Shearer and Ayden Shearer; and three nieces, Trinity Shearer, Talynne Shearer, and Tatum Shearer.

Funeral services 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bruce Williams officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Danville, KY.
