Here it is finally getting warm enough to enjoy the spring time and all the beauty of this great time of year. Seeing the Main Street of Danville looking refreshed with newly painted buildings and new awnings on several of them and the Weisiger Park redone makes us appreciate all the work that has been done to make the city look better.

Here in the western part of Boyle County the new building being built at the Perryville landfill is such an improvement to the area around us. Every little detail helps the communities look better and the pretty flowers that are already blooming.

The new Morning Pointe facility is such a beautiful place where folks can live and be cared for. One lady there calls it the “Taj Mahal” of Danville. Honors Day was held there recently and some 35 certificate awards were presented to those attending a volunteers breakfast.

We go there once a month and do music and a devotional period and they look forward to that from month to month.
