Homecoming

STANFORD — Harris Creek Baptist Church will be having a homecoming on Sunday, July 16. Stanley Hardin will be preaching the morning service. There will be a potluck lunch served after the morning service so please bring at covered dish. The Calvary Heirs, from Berea, will be singing at about 1 p.m. There will be no service Sunday night.

LANCASTER — Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1597 Boones Creek Road, Lancaster is having Vacation Bible School “Believing Isn’t Always Seeing” on Saturday, July 15, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. We will have water inflatable fun! Optional: (Bring a change of clothes and socks. It is faith growing, food gathering and fun games. Everyone is invited.

Bible School

Willow Grove Baptist Church, at 4306 Stanford Road in Danville, invites children of preschool age through sixth grade to VBS next week, July 17-21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. The men of St. James A.M.E. Church, 124 East Walnut Street, are having a food Satuday, July 15 at 11 a.m. 236-3241. Menu inclues hamburgers and chili dogs.
