The following people were indicted by a Garrard County grand jury on July 21:

• Trintin Ashburn, 1374 Lannock Drive, Danville: trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces when he sold a quantity of marijuana to a police witness; possession of marijuana; second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor. No bail was set and a summons was issued. Officer Troy Willard with the Garrard County Police Department testified.

• Cody Hurt, 22, 285 Egner Road, Paint Lick: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance when he sold less than 2 grams of methamphetamine to a police officer. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Willard testified.

• Roy Browning, 61, 407 South Campbell St., Lancaster: first-degree trafficking in controlled substance; second degree trafficking in a controlled substance; first-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $20,000 cash. Willard testified.
