100 Women: The Perception of Beauty, Oct. 6-31 at The Kentucky Theater, 214 E Main St., Lexington. This portraiture photography exhibition by Eastern Kentucky University graduate Skylar Davis, a Lancaster native, showcases the beauty of all women through photography without the use of Photoshop to alter the features or body types of the subjects. Includes quotes by participants describing struggles they have faced as women and the effect of media on their self-image draws attention to society’s obsession with perfection and gender inequalities still regularly faced today.
